Decorated with Happiness Christmas Greetings Card

This week at Creative Cafe, we had a blast! Creative Cafe is my cross-Canada team, which ranges from Labrador to Alberta. We have a monthly meet online to share stamping news and craft together. It includes the chance to purchase a $10 per month card class. Here's one of the cards we made the other night:

Featuring the Decorated with Happiness stamp set, this card employs a colour palette of Poppy Parade, Basic Black, and Polished Pink. Tying it together is the multicoloured (and multi-season) Celebrate Everything DSP. It's one of my fave DSPs, as it has so many patterns to use year-round. And it comes in a giant pack of 48 12" x 12" sheets!

To make the card, we started with a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Basic Black card base. Then we adhered 3" x 4" panels of Poppy Parade Cardstock and DSP, angling them in opposite directions. We next layered on a 3/4" x 4" piece of DSP in a different pattern, a small length of Real Red 3/8" Mini Ruffled Ribbon, and a label cut with Painted Labels Dies and stamped with Poppy Parade ink. The final touch was several Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels, simply added to the red berries in the paper.

Would you like to join our happy crafting crew at Creative Cafe? Now is a great time! There's a fabulous deal on until 31 October, with more than $70 in freebies of your choice! Read about it here
