Friends, today I'm starting a series featuring two lovely floral items that are perfect for the season! I'll be using the Stippled Roses Stamp Set & Dies, and the Countryside Inn paper.
For these projects, I went with a monochromatic colour scheme - shades of blue and white - plus a simple stamping theme. So only one colour of ink is needed!
Here's my card:
To make this card, I started by stamping my sentiment from the Stippled Roses Stamp Set. I used Boho Blue Ink on a 1/2" wide scrap of Boho Blue Cardstock, then cut the sentiment at an angle on each end with Paper Snips. Stamping a colour of ink onto the same colour of cardstock creates a beautiful effect!
I also stamped the large floral image in Boho Blue Ink, onto a Basic White Cardstock circle that I'd cut using Stylish Shapes Dies. Tip: Make sure the larger flower is on the circle; the rest of the foliage can stamp off the edges.

Next, I cut a 4" x 5 1/4" Boho Blue Cardstock panel and embossed it using the Fern 3D Embossing Folder.
I attached a 2" x 5 1/4" strip of Countryside Inn DSP to the embossed piece, then attached the panel to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Basic White Thick Cardstock card base.
Countryside Inn DSP has proven such a big hit that they carried it over from last year's Annual Catalogue for another year! Here's a look at the lovely patterns:
To finish the card, I used Stampin' Dimensionals™ to layer on the stamped pieces. Then I embellished with my personal favourite - Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
