I've got a quick heat embossing card to share with you. If you've never done heat embossing before, no worries! It's really easy to learn.

This die set is my go-to for making small mats to use with images on my cards:
Next, I did the heat embossing. I first used my embossing buddy (it's the item that looks like a small pillow) from the Embossing Additions Tool Kit to ensure there was no moisture on my vellum. Then I stamped my sentiment from the Night Divine Stamp Set in invisible VersaMark Ink.
I sprinkled Silver embossing powder from the Metallics Embossing Powders liberally over the sentiment. I tapped off the excess and returned it to the container.
Then I used the Heat Tool to work its magic. If you haven't heat embossed before, the embossing is done when the powder turns to a shiny, metallic, raised finish. Here are the Metallics Embossing Powders, which come in a 3-pack of Copper, Gold & Silver:
To assemble, I adhered a 4" x 5 1/4" panel of O Holy Night DSP to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Basic White Thick Cardstock card base. While this DSP is now sold out and will not be replenished, a good alternative is the Stargazing DSP, with its many starry sky patterns. I've included it in the supply list at the end of this post.
Placing Mini Glue Dots™ behind the letters on the Vellum so that the adhesive would not show through, I attached the Vellum to the card base. Then I made a bow from Silver & White Sheer Ribbon, also adhering it with Mini Glue Dots™. It adds a delightful sparkle!
