Julie Golding Page: Nature's Prints Fall Fox Card

Friends, today I have another autumn card for you - this time featuring a fall fox!

Here's my card:

To make this card, I started by using the Nature's Prints Stamp Set to stamp two sets of greenery in Pretty Peacock Ink and one fern in Copper Clay Ink (both on Basic White Cardstock).

With Natural Prints Dies, I then cut out the stamped greenery and fern. I also cut two greenery sprigs from Oxidized Copper Specialty DSP and a label from Crumb Cake Cardstock. I stamped my sentiment onto the label in Pretty Peacock Ink.

Next, I adhered a 4" x 5 1/4" panel of All About Autumn DSP (foil side up) to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Crumb Cake Cardstock card base. While the All About Autumn DSP is now sold out for good, no worries! The Oxidized Copper Specialty DSP will make a fabulous substitute in this card.

I then attached a 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" panel of One Horse Open Sleigh DSP with the fox print to a 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" panel of Copper Clay Cardstock. I added them to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals™.

The One Horse Open Sleigh DSP has a surprising number of colours in it, and I was happy to discover that it could be used for making earthy autumn cards as well as blue-toned winter ones. Here's the beautiful DSP:

To finish the card, I layered on all the greenery pieces to make a bouquet, then attached the stamped label over them with Stampin' Dimensionals™. My last step was embellishing with Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems.
