Friends, I'm writing with my cup of coffee at hand - my morning treat. What's in your morning cuppa?
This is a very busy season, with fall routines in full swing & the holidays coming up soon. So I need that coffee boost.
What better way to enjoy a cuppa than with a friend? Today's card invites a friend to a coffee (or tea/matcha/hot chocolate/etc.) date:
This card is pretty simple to make, with just one die-cut piece. (If you don't yet have a die-cutting machine, just cut a rectangle.)

To start, I used my Scalloped Contours Dies to cut the mid-sized rectangle from Very Vanilla Cardstock. All the dies in this set - except for the largest scalloped rectangle - can be used in the Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.
Then I used the Coffee with Friends Stamp Set to stamp the girl's image in Calypso Coral Ink and the sentiment in Pretty Peacock Ink. Here's the stamp set, which was irresistible to a cafe gal like me:
Next, I adhered a 3 3/4" x 5" panel of Inked Botanicals DSP to a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Pretty Peacock Cardstock. I added the panels and my stamped scalloped rectangle to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Crushed Curry Cardstock card base with Stampin' Dimensionals™.
I embellished with Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins. They're out of stock right now, but Sequins for Everything are a great substitute. They're just $6.50 in the Clearance Rack, while supplies last!
To finish the card, I added a bow made from Lost Lagoon 1/4" Bordered Ribbon. It's got a beautifully variegated finish:
