Bird's Eye View Card & Blog Hop

Hello from along the tidal Skutik (St Croix) River! I'm here in Saint Stephen, New Brunswick, Canada - just a few minutes' walk from Calais, Maine, USA.

This beautiful area is connected to the Bay of Fundy, home of the world's highest tides. It's the traditional territory and home of the Passamaquoddy, and I'm grateful they share it with us.

Thank you for joining us on our blog hop across the Stampin' Up!® world. Contributors are all members of the fantastic Demonstrator Training Program organized by Kylie & Bruno Bertucci in Australia. A big thank you to our fabulous leaders, Kylie & Bruno!

Today we're featuring cards we've made to say thank you to our lovely customers. When you shop with me this month, you'll receive the pieces to make this card as my thanks to you.

Just click on the Blog Hop Links at the end of this post to see more cards.

My August customer card features the Bird's Eye View Stamp Set and Bright & Beautiful DSP. I'll include a clickable photo supply list at the end of this post.

To make this card, I started by using the Scalloped Contours Dies to cut a scalloped rectangle from Basic White Cardstock.

I then stamped my images from the Bird's Eye View Stamp Set onto scraps of Basic White Cardstock in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I used Stampin' Blends™ to colour the images: Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly, and Pool Party.

I think the Bird's Eye View set is super-cute. How about you?

My next step was to cut out the bird and books with Paper Snips scissors. I added the cut-outs to my scalloped rectangle using Stampin' Dimensionals™.

I then layered onto a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Pool Party Cardstock card base a 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" panel of Lemon Lolly Cardstock and a 3" x 5 1/2" panel of Bright & Beautiful DSP.

This DSP includes so many vibrant patterns that I've used in multiple projects:

To finish the card, I embellished the scalloped rectangle with Loose Frosted Dots. To adhere them, I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue and my Take Your Pick tool.

Next, I attached the scalloped rectangle to my card with Stampin' Dimensionals™.

My final step was to add a bow made from Pool Party Grosgrain Ribbon.
