Friends, today I'm sharing with you another card featuring the Waves Dies and coordinating Waves of Inspiration Stamp Set. The water theme is inspired by Lake Simcoe, where we are enjoying cottage life at the moment.

To make this card, I started by using the Waves Dies to cut a large tag from Basic White Cardstock. I also cut a large Lost Lagoon Cardstock circle using Stylish Shapes Dies.
With Wild Wheat Ink, I stamped the sentiment from the Waves of Inspiration Stamp Set onto the tag. I also stamped the pelican onto a Basic White Cardstock scrap, then cut it out with the dies.
My sentiment choice is to honour a friend of mine, who is going through a rough time. Her strength in the midst of it all truly is an inspiration! Who inspires you, friends - and might need to hear how much they encourage you?
Here's a look at the Waves of Inspiration Stamp Set:
To assemble, I first cut 3 strips of Hello, Irresistible DSP: two 1" x 5" strips and one 1 1/4" x 5" strip. I adhered them to a 4" x 5 1/4" Lost Lagoon Cardstock panel. Then I added the Lost Lagoon Circle with Stampin' Dimensionals™.
Hello, Irresistible DSP might not be a top-of-mind option for a seashore or lakeshore card, but the colours are wonderful for both water and summer themes:
Next, I fed a doubled length of Wild Wheat trim from the 2023-2025 In Color™ Jute Trim pack (which comes with all 5 In Colors™) through my tag. I added Stampin' Dimensionals™ to the tag, attached it to the circle, and adhered the trim to the back.
I then tied a bow in a doubled length of trim and added it to the tag with a Mini Glue Dot™.
To finish the card, I adhered the pelican to the circle, embellished with Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots, and attached the completed panel to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Basic White Thick Cardstock card base with Stampin' Dimensionals™.
