Friends, today I have the 2nd of 3 simple cards from my recent Simple Stamping Class. If you missed the first card, find it here.
I offer classes exclusively online, and participants come from across Canada. I'll be posting the next round of classes soon. Why not consider trying a class with our cross-Canada crafting community?
For now, here's today's card:
To make this card, I first used the Something Fancy Dies to cut a label for the chosen sentiment from Basic White Cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in Shaded Spruce Ink, using the Something Fancy Stamp Set.
I'll include a clickable photo supply list at the end of this post.
The Something Fancy Dies include some very versatile labels that can also be layered to create a nested effect.
Next, I used Scalloped Contours Dies to cut the largest scalloped rectangle from Basic White Cardstock. I then adhered to it a 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" panel of Flowers & More Host DSP. (This paper retired after I prepped the class packets, but you can substitute your favourite coordinating DSP.)
I fed a length of White Glittered Organdy Ribbon through the holes in the scalloped rectangle and secured it to the back with Mini Glue Dots™. Then I attached the papers with Stampin' Dimensionals™ to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" card base made from Tahitian Tide Cardstock.
To finish the card, I attached the label with Stampin' Dimensionals™. I fed a small bit of ribbon through the length of ribbon on the card and tied a knot. Then I embellished with Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels.
I love the White Glittered Organdy Ribbon, as it can be used on so many projects:
