Friends, it's time for another This or That!
Do you prefer This - featuring the Seaside Bay stamp set & retiring Mint Macaron colour scheme?
Or That - featuring Happiness Abounds and a Fresh Freesia colour scheme?
Here's how I made the Fresh Freesia Happiness Abounds card:
To start, I die cut a scalloped rectangle from Basic White Cardstock, using Scalloped Contours Dies. With a sentiment from the Happiness Abounds Stamp Set, I stamped in Gorgeous Grape Ink.Next, I cut a 4" x 5 1/4" Fresh Freesia Cardstock panel and embossed with the Gingham Embossing Folder. It retires May 1st and is now just $4.10 in the Last Chance Sale:
I adhered a 2" x 4" strip of Hues of Happiness DSP to a 2 1/2" x 4" strip of Gorgeous Grape Cardstock, then attached them to the embossed panel. I added the panel to a 4 1/4" x 11" Fresh Freesia Cardstock card base using Stampin' Dimensionals™.
I also added the scalloped rectangle to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals™. I then stamped a flower and some greenery from the Happiness Abounds Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto some scraps of Basic White Cardstock. Using Fresh Freesia, Daffodil Delight, and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends, I coloured the images. I cut them out with Blossoming Happiness Dies and attached them to the card.
Using White Glittered Organdy Ribbon, I tied a bow and added it to the card with Mini Glue Dots™. This ribbon has been a favourite of mine for awhile, and I'm happy it is carrying over to the new catalogue:
My final step was embellishing with Opal Rounds to add a little bling. They're retiring and on sale right now for just $5.12:
