Sweet Citrus Sweeter Things Blood Orange Card

My favourite kind of citrus fruit to snack on is the delightfully tart blood orange, so I experimented with colours and came up with a card for it:

I especially like the way the black and white highlight Mango Melody and Poppy Parade in this card. Black and White Gingham Ribbon coordinates perfectly, and this ribbon has become one of my go-tos. 

I'll include a clickable photo supply list at the end of this post, which takes you to the items in my online shop.

Here are the instructions for my card:

1. Using Sweet Citrus Stamp Set, stamp sentiment in Poppy Parade Ink onto a 3/4” x 4 1/4” Mango Melody Cardstock scrap.
2. Stamp onto Basic White Cardstock:
1. Citrus outlines in Mango Melody Ink
2. Citrus interiors in Poppy Parade Ink
3. Flowers in Poppy Parade Ink
3. Cut out citrus and flower images with Sweet Citrus Dies or Paper Snips scissors.
4. Arrange blood oranges and flowers on Mango Melody Cardstock square, cut with largest square in Stylish Shapes Dies. Pop up items with Stampin’ Dimensionals as desired.
5. Adhere a 3 3/4” x 5” Perfectly Pencilled DSP panel to a 4” x 5 1/4” Mango Melody Cardstock panel.
6. Add square with blood oranges to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
7. Cut sentiment piece and 3/4” x 4 1/4” Poppy Parade Cardstock strip at angles on each end, then attach to each other.
8. Adhere sentiment to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
9. Embellish flower centres with Classic Matte Dots.
10. Tie a bow in Black & White Gingham Ribbon and attach with Mini Glue Dot.
