Strawberry Builder Punch Card & Demo

Friends, one of my favourite parts of spring is strawberry season. I absolutely love fresh berries, how about you? 

So today I have a card for you that celebrates spring - without breaking the bank! It features the Strawberry Builder Punch, available now on the Clearance Rack for only $14.40 CAD. I'll have a full clickable supply list for you at the end of this post.

To make this card, I started by using the smallest of the Scalloped Contours Dies scalloped rectangles to cut a label from a Basic White Cardstock scrap. I stamped the sentiment from the new Irresistible Blooms Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Here's a look at this fab new set. Ce jeu d'estampes est également disponible en français. I really love the friendly looking font on the sentiments.

Next, I layered a 2" x 5 1/4" strip of Perfectly Pencilled DSP and a 2 1/2" x 5 1/4" strip of Country Gingham DSP onto a 4" x 5 1/4" Basic Black Cardstock panel. I added a 1/2" x 3 1/4" scrap of Sweet Sorbet Cardstock, then adhered the stamped label over it with Stampin' Dimensionals. A cost-effective way to purchase the Sweet Sorbet and Parakeet Party Cardstocks that are needed for this project is to buy the 2022-2024 In Color 8 1/2" x 11" Cardstock assortment:

To make the strawberries and stems, I used scraps of Sweet Sorbet and Parakeet Party Cardstock in the Strawberry Builder Punch. With Mini Glue Dots, I adhered the stems to the berries, then added the finished berries with Stampin' Dimensionals. Here's the punch, which also includes a leaf and a flower:

To finish the card, I attached the panel to a 4 1/4" x 11" Basic White Thick Cardstock card base. The final touch was a bow made from Parakeet Party Metallic Woven Ribbon.
