Seal of Approval Card

Friends, my apologies for not doing my usual Facebook Live this morning, as every Tuesday @ 10:30 Atlantic. My whole family has caught a bug and we're under the weather. But I've got a project for you regardless, using the fun Seal of Approval stamp set:

This super-cute stamp set is actually on a big discount right now - only $13.20 instead of the usual $33! - as it's one of the Last Chance Sale items. Check out the Last Chance Sale here.

For the colour scheme, I went with Pool Party, Blushing Bride, Silver Foil, and Basic White (for contrast). I used the versatile Chic Dies for my Silver Foil die cuts and the Stylish Shapes Dies for the seals' circles. I'll include a clickable photo supply list for you at the end of this post. Just click on the item and you'll land on that product in my online store.

To make this card, I started by using Gray Granite ink to stamp the sentiment on a 1" x 3 3/4" strip of Blushing Bride Cardstock and the two seals onto Basic White Cardstock. Then I used the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut them out with 2 1/2" and 1 3/4" circles. With the Chic Dies, I also cut from Silver Foil paper the three seashells and latticework. I removed the tiny cut-out pieces from the latticework with my Take Your Pick tool.

Next I adhered a 3" x 8" panel of wave-patterned Celebrate Everything DSP to a 3 1/4" x 8 1/4" Blushing Bride panel to create a card front. Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, I attached the latticework to the panels. Then I cut two strips of Sweet Sorbet Metallic Woven Ribbon and attached them to the back of the panels with Stampin' Seal. With dimensionals, I attached the card front to a 7" x 8 1/2" Thick White Cardstock card base, scored at 3 1/2".

I positioned the seals over the edges of the sentiment and glued them to it, then added them to the card with dimensionals. Then I used Mini Glue Dots and small pieces of dimensionals to add the seashells. I cut two lengths of ribbon and tied them in a bow, attaching to the card with glue dots. Finally, I added Adhesive-Backed Seasonal Sequins to look like water bubbles.
