Sweetest Cherries Card

September is a time of new beginnings for the coming autumn - my daughter is back at school, the leaves are starting to change, and there's a new crispness in the air. What better time to launch my new blog?

For all that, though, I'm not ready to let go of summer *quite* yet! So today's project is a summery fruit harvest card, featuring the Sweetest Cherries Bundle. I've always been a sucker for cherries, with their appealing shape and colour, so I couldn't resist this stamp set and punch!

For my card, I chose a colour palette of Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, and Crumb Cake. I started by stamping cherries randomly on a Basic White Cardstock panel. Then for extra depth and elegance, I added a sheet of Lovely Layers vellum, a large tag from the Designer Tag Dies, and some ribbon from the Real Red & Garden Green 3/8" Ribbon Combo Pack.
