Masterfully Made Simple Stamping Card

Friends, our current catalogues are retiring soon. So today I want to highlight one of my favourite papers - Masterfully Made DSP.

This super-colourful paper includes both floral and collage/abstract prints, with many different colours. So it's great for a wide variety of projects.

My card today is a simple make:

To make this card, I started by using the Designer Tags Dies to cut a tag from Fresh Freesia Cardstock. I then stamped my sentiment from the Blueberry Bunches Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto it.

Helpful Hint: Tuxedo Black Memento Ink pads are going up from $9 to $11 as of May 1st, so now is a great time to stock up!

I love Tuxedo Black, as it does not run when used with Stampin' Blends™ alcohol markers.

Next, I fed a small piece of Silver & White 1/2" Sheer Ribbon through the tag, tied it once, and trimmed. This ribbon is a favourite of mine because it can also be transformed into any colour you like with Stampin' Blends™. 

I also embellished the tag. Since the retiring 2022-2024 In Color™ Pearls that I used are now sold out & won't be re-stocked, I'd suggest Rhinestone Basic Jewels instead. They'd pick up nicely the silver thread in the ribbon.

I then cut two pieces of Masterfully Made DSP: one that was 3 3/4" x 3 1/4" and another 3 3/4" x 1 3/4". I flipped them over and attached them on the back with household tape.

This terrific DSP will be discontinued at the end of April or whenever it sells out, whichever comes first. Don't miss your chance to order some!

To finish, I attached the DSP panel to a 4" x 5 1/4" Fresh Freesia Cardstock panel, then adhered that panel to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Lost Lagoon Cardstock card base.
