Friends, today I want to share a card that I made for the upcoming Valentine's Day.
I love the fun colour scheme of pinks and reds that we find everywhere at this time of year. How about you?
Here's my card:
I'll include a photo supply list at the end of this post.
To make this card, I started by stamping my sentiment onto the right-hand side of a 3 3/4" x 5" Basic White Cardstock panel. I used Berry Burst Ink and the Share a Milkshake Stamp Set.
I love the Share a Milkshake Stamps & Dies, because they can be used year-round and not just for Valentine's Day. They make everything from milkshake glasses to ice cream dishes to waffle cones!
Here are the stamps & dies:
Next, I adhered two 7/8" x 3 3/4" pieces of Glorious Gingham DSP to the top and bottom of the Basic White panel.
Using the dies, I cut out a:
- milkshake glass from Distressed Gold Specialty Paper
- spoon from Gold Foil Sheets
- ice cream froth from Bubble Bath Cardstock
- cherry from Berry Burst Cardstock
Using the Bee Builder Punch, I punched out a large heart (which doubles as bees' wings) from Berry Burst Cardstock. I adhered it to the panel with a Stampin' Dimensional.™ Here's the cute Bee Builder Punch:
To finish the card, I attached the panel to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Crumb Cake Cardstock card base using Stampin' Dimensionals™. Then I embellished with Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
