Kit & Cuppa: Kit Mash-Up Using Leftovers

Friends, welcome to Kit & Cuppa! On Fridays @ 2 pm Atlantic, I hop onto Facebook Live for a few minutes to make a card from a kit. 

This week, I decided to take leftovers from one kit, then combine them with supplies from another to make a card that's different from those in either kit.

The leftovers are a series of hearts punched out of one of the panels in the Saying Thanks Kit (see the card at bottom left, pictured above). 

The hearts are never used in the kit, so I decided to colour them with my Stampin' Blends, to approximate the confetti details on the envelopes in the Confetti Birthday Kit. 

I used these Stampin' Blends: Poppy Parade, Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, Azure Afternoon, and Lemon Lime Twist. 

Next, I put together the card from the Confetti Birthday Kit that has a present on the front (pictured top left, above). 

The only part I changed was substituting the coloured hearts for the sequins that came in the kit.

Here's my result, which I really liked:
