Beautiful Balloons Yay You Card

Friends, this is quite the celebratory week! 

First, I'm celebrating finally starting to feel more human again, after nearly a month of fighting bronchitis and other assorted viruses. Hooray! 

Then yesterday was a big day - my 2nd Stampiversary as a Stampin' Up!® demonstrator! If you missed that post and project, click here. 

Today the party continues, celebrating 29 years of marriage with Steve. I'm so grateful to have such a wonderful partner! In the photo above, we're at a recent CBC recording of a comedy show in Saint John, NB. What a great evening!

Steve's also been a major encourager in my stamping journey, which I appreciate so much. 💘

My card today is a celebratory one with the theme of "Yay You." So here's to you, Steve - and to us!

My party card features the Beautiful Balloons Bundle and the colourful new Bright & Beautiful DSP. I'll include a clickable photo supply list at the end of this post. 

Here's how to make the card:

1. Using Stylish Shapes Dies, cut a small circle from Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock and a slightly larger circle from Berry Burst Cardstock.
2. On a scrap of Basic White Cardstock, stamp the sentiment from the Beautiful Balloons Bundle in Blueberry Bushel Ink.
3. Cut out sentiment with Paper Snips.
4. Attach a 3 3/4" x 5" panel of Bright & Beautiful DSP to a 4" x 5 1/4" Blueberry Bushel Cardstock panel.
5. Wrap 2 lengths of Starry Sky Metallic Woven Ribbon around the panels and secure on back with Mini Glue Dots™.
6. Adhere the two coloured circles to each other, then add to panels with Stampin' Dimensionals™.
7. Tie a bow in the ribbon and add to panels with Mini Glue Dots™.
8. Adhere panels to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Basic White Thick Cardstock card base using Stampin' Dimensionals™.
9. Embellish with Glossy Dots Assortment.
