Flowering Tulips Flowering Fields DSP Card

Happy New Year, friends! Today's weather here on the east coast is predicted to be pretty balmy for January 1st, several degrees above the freezing point. So how about a fresh spring card to start off the New Year?

To make my card, I used the Tulips Dies to cut out the flowers and greenery pieces from Poppy Parade, Calypso Coral, Petal Pink, and Pear Pizzazz Cardstocks. I layered a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Flowering Tulips DSP onto a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Poppy Parade card base, then added a 3" x 4 1/4" piece of Vellum. From there, I assembled and adhered the tulips, then added a bow from Evening Evergreen Windowpane Check Ribbon, securing with a Mini Glue Dot.

Doesn't this card just feel like spring? And bonus - the gorgeous Flowering Fields DSP I used in this card is on sale for just $6.30 in the Clearance Rack!
