On the Farm Veggies Card & Blog Hop

Happy Holidays, friends, from Saint Stephen, New Brunswick, Canada! I'm located here in a border town just across from Calais, Maine, USA, along the Skutik/Saint Croix River, home of the Peskotomuhkati/Passamaquoddy people.

I'm delighted to welcome folks from around the globe for our blog hop, displaying the work of talented friends in the Inspirations in Ink group. There will be a list of links to everyone's projects toward the end of this post.

This month's blog hop features items from what I like to call the Most Wonderful Crafting Time of the Year: Sale-A-Bration! There's going to be just one Sale-A-Bration in 2023, starting when the new Spring Mini Catalogue goes live on January 5th. So make sure you don't miss this fantastic sale, friends!

All our projects use either the Dainty Delight Bundle or On the Farm Bundle, as each one has coordinating freebies available through Sale-A-Bration. Here in Canada, you can get a freebie with every $60 spend. (Outside Canada, check with a demonstrator in your local market, for corresponding amounts.)

My card features the soon-to-be-released On the Farm Bundle. Ce produit sera également disponible en français. I've paired the bundle with the coordinating Sale-A-Bration freebie, Day at the Farm DSP. All these items will be available on 5 January.

I started by using the largest and 2nd largest circles of the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut two circles, in Pear Pizzazz and Basic White Cardstock. On the white circle, I stamped the hills  in Pear Pizzazz Ink and the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Then I stamped the clouds in Balmy Blue Ink and the barn & silo in Cherry Cobbler onto some scraps of Basic White Cardstock. I used the On the Farm Dies to cut them out.

From there, it was all assembly. I adhered the white circle to the Pear Pizzazz circle with Stampin' Seal, then I attached the barn, silo, and clouds to the white circle with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

Next I adhered a 4 1/4" x 4 1/2" Day at the Farm DSP panel to a 4 1/4" x 5" Cherry Cobbler Cardstock panel. I added a length of Gold 3/8" Satin Edged Ribbon across the middle of the panels, securing it on the back with Mini Glue Dots. I then attached the panels to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Basic Black card base, and the circles to the card front, using Stampin' Dimensionals each time. With Mini Glue Dots, I added a bow, plus some Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels as embellishments.

Inside the card, I adhered a 3 3/4" x 5" Basic White panel and decorated it with a scrap of DSP.

Thanks so much for checking out my On the Farm card. If you're in Canada and would like to purchase this bundle or any other supplies, please check out my ordering info below. These products go LIVE on January 5th, so not long now! And make sure to visit my friends' blogs for more project ideas:
