This weekend, I'm celebrating my birthday - and I love birthdays! So I'm making a card from the festive Light the Candles Kit.

This kit makes 8 very impressive cards, 4 each of 2 designs. The cards contain intricate die-cut overlays and fancy, colourful glittered pieces underneath.
Although the cards look complicated, they're super easy - because everything is already cut for you! My 11-year-old daughter made cards from the kit, too, with fantastic results.
This all-inclusive kit comes with everything you need to make all the projects - even adhesives! So it's great for anyone who wants to try card-making without a big investment. And it's also great for taking on the road, to the cottage, or to a friend's house!
The only nice-to-have addition I'd suggest is the Take Your Pick tool. With its putty end, it's a great asset for picking up tiny embellishments found in the kit.
