Friends, do you have any snow where you are yet? We had a brief snowfall back a few weeks ago, but it quickly melted. It's now +10 C and quite balmy. In this part of the country, we have about a 50% chance of having a white Christmas. But either way, the terrific snowflake frame that comes in the Snowman Magic die set can set the stage for some snow this holiday season:
For this card, I chose a twist on the traditional seasonal red & green: Poppy Parade and Bermuda Bay. I wanted to showcase the cool frame die and the beautiful Santa Express DSP, along with the cute snow woman and bunny. For a clickable photo supply list that will take you directly to each product in my online store, just scroll to the end of this post.
Here's how I made the card. I first stamped onto Basic White Cardstock scraps:
- Sentiment in Shaded Spruce ink, then cut the ends at an angle
- Snow woman outline, face & bunny in Tuxedo Black ink, then coloured the carrot nose with Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends
- Necklace onto snow woman in Poppy Parade ink
- Hat in Poppy Parade ink
- Hat
- Bunny
- Snow woman - then attached the hat with Multipurpose Liquid Glue
- Two arms in Basic Black
- Snowflake frame in Bermuda Bay
- Tree in Shaded Spruce
