Friends, today's card is the second in our Fun Fold series. This card provides lots of room for additional decorating or message-writing. If you missed yesterday's Easel Card, find it here.
Both cards feature the beautiful Boughs of Holly collection. (Le jeu d'estampes est également disponible en français.) I'll include a clickable photo supply list at the end of this post.
Here's how to make the card:
- Cut a card base from Basic White 12” x 12” Cardstock that measures 5 1/4” x 12”.
- Using the scoring tool, score at 4”, 6” and 8”.
- Cut as follows:
- One piece 3 3/4” x 5” of DSP
- Two pieces 1 3/4” x 5” of DSP
- One piece 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” of Real Red Cardstock
- Fold card base in half and arrange so that it forms a tent shape in the middle (i.e., the flaps around the fold stand up like a tent). Fold the two end panels in toward the “tent.” (See photo below.)
- Adhere the two 1 3/4” x 5” pieces of DSP to the “tent.”
- Flip card on its back and adhere 3 3/4” x 5” piece of DSP to the right-hand panel. (DSP already adhered will not be visible on this side of the card.)
- Fold card so that DSP is the front panel, with the other strips of DSP inside the card. Adhere 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” piece of Real Red Cardstock to the left-hand panel, so that there is a cardstock border visible around the card.
- Cut a 2” x 3 1/2” piece of Basic White Cardstock and a 2 1/4” x 3 3/4” piece of Real Red Cardstock. Adhere together.
- Using Holly Berry dies, cut out a holly label from Sahara Sand Cardstock and the matching holly leaves from Evening Evergreen Cardstock.
- Stamp sentiment on Sahara Sand label in Real Red ink.
- Adhere Evening Evergreen leaves to label, then attach label to Real Red and Basic White cardstock panels. Adhere entire piece to card front using dimensionals.
- Add Gold Holly Leaves as desired.
